I had WINE tonight!! I was so nervous. It's been seven weeks since my surgery. My surgeon said I shouldn't drink before 6 weeks had passed.
I wanted to drink at home in case I got sick. I felt the effects MUCH faster than I used to (could that just be due to the fact that it's been over two months since I've had any alcohol? Who knows). But other than that, I felt fine. Good, even! I had about one glass of wine over an hour and a half, after I'd eaten dinner.
I'm so glad I can enjoy a glass of wine every now and again. I feel NORMAL.
